Music DNA is Aiify's taste profile of you: an explainable model of your musical taste — energy, mood, genres, languages, topics and self-discovered "taste lanes" — learned continuously from how you actually listen. It is not used to pick songs from a catalog. It is used to write new ones.

Every dimension carries a confidence score — "high" means Aiify has seen enough listening to trust it, and new tastes are explored carefully, not assumed.
A taste type
Your DNA resolves to a shareable taste identity — Genre Nomad, Midnight Voltage, Neon Euphoria, Kinetic Pulse, Velvet Shadow, Golden Hour, Deep Current, Spectrum Drifter.
Explainable on purpose — no black box
Most recommendation systems are opaque embeddings: they can't tell you why you got what you got. Aiify made the opposite bet. Music DNA is deterministic and score-based — which is exactly why:
- Every song can answer "why me?" — tap Why this song and get a straight answer, like "your metal lane is getting faster."
- You can see your whole profile — the DNA page in the app shows your axes, lanes, genres and how your taste has moved over time.
- You stay in control — nudge it, correct it, or reset it entirely. Dislikes heal; tastes are allowed to change.
How DNA becomes a song
When Aiify writes your next song, your Music DNA steers the whole chain: it shapes the creative brief (genre, energy, mood, language, topics), an AI songwriter composes original lyrics and structure against it, the track is generated on Aiify's own GPUs in about 1–2 minutes, and the result is professionally mastered before it reaches your queue. Then your reaction to it — play, skip, love — flows straight back into the DNA. The loop never stops: see the full loop.
The privacy contract
A profile this personal only works if the rules around it are hard rules:

| Yours to reset | You can reset your DNA or delete your account (and all of its data) at any time, under GDPR. |
